Founders Associate (Working Student)

This role exists to create leverage for two founders who have more opportunities than hours. One week you prepare an investor meeting and build the deck behind it, the next you fix our invoicing flow, map a partner list, write a LinkedIn post, or automate a recurring task out of existence. Part strategy, part admin, and all of it the reason the firm moves faster. For working students and recent graduates with high agency, mild organisational obsession, genuine fluency in AI tooling, and a clear writing hand in Dutch and English. A front row seat to how a company gets built, plus permission to fix what you find broken.
Equity made simple
Crowdpowder is a boutique equity consultancy based in Den Bosch. We help startups and scale-ups across Europe raise growth capital from their own community, digitise their share structures, and make employees co-owners. Founded in 2025 by two people who ran operations and product at a Dutch equity crowdfunding platform, and who got tired of watching only the already wealthy get access to early ownership.
We are small, growing fast, and building the firm while running client work at the same time. That is exactly where this role comes in.
What a Founders Associate actually is
You work directly with Koen and Daniël, our two Managing Partners, on whatever is most urgent that week. You cover the whole surface of a young company.
One week you are preparing an investor meeting and building the deck behind it. The next you are fixing our invoicing flow, mapping a partner list, writing a LinkedIn post, or setting up the automation that stops a recurring task from existing at all.
This role exists to create leverage for two founders who have more opportunities than hours. Part of it looks like strategy, part of it looks like admin, and all of it is the reason the firm moves faster.
This is a wide job with soft boundaries. In exchange you get a front row seat to how a company gets built, and the freedom to fix what you find broken.
What you will do
Founder leverage
· Prepare meetings: context briefs, agendas, open questions, follow-ups that actually get sent
· Manage the inbox and the calendar, so the conversations that move things forward happen first
· Take notes in client and partner sessions, and turn them into decisions and next steps
Operations and finance
· Keep our invoicing, expense and administration flow running alongside our finance team
· Own and improve our internal systems in Notion: pipelines, project pages, templates, dashboards
· Build automations and AI-assisted workflows that remove recurring work permanently
Commercial support
· Research and qualify prospects, partners and platforms, and keep the CRM accurate
· Prepare outreach lists and support campaigns for new business and referral partners
· Help produce proposals, one-pagers and engagement letters from our templates
Marketing and content
· Support our LinkedIn presence: drafting, scheduling, repurposing what already works
·Prepare on-brand graphics and materials using our existing templates and design system
Firm building
· Support hiring: job postings, first screening, interview logistics
· Organise team sessions, client visits and the occasional event
· Pick up the thing nobody has claimed yet, which happens weekly
Who you are
· Working student (HBO or university, bachelor's final phase or master's) or a recent graduate, available 2 to 3 days per week
· High agency. You see something broken, fix it, and then tell us what you changed
· Organised to the point of mild obsession. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
· Comfortable with ambiguity. "Figure out how we should do this" is an instruction you can work with
·A clear, fast writer in both Dutch and English
·Genuinely fluent with AI tools and automation. We expect you to build your own leverage
· Discreet. You will see financials, client situations and investor conversations that stay inside the firm
· Interested in entrepreneurship, equity and how companies get financed. Curiosity counts for more here than a finance degree
Where this role leads
Generalist roles have a reputation for murky career paths. Here are the three routes we have mapped:
1. Specialise. You discover the part you love, whether that is operations, marketing or client delivery, and grow into it. Our consulting ladder starts at Associate and runs to Consultant and beyond
2. Go broader. You stay generalist and grow with the firm, toward a Chief of Staff style role as we scale
3. Go build your own. Some people use this seat to learn how a company works and then start their own. We think that is a completely legitimate outcome, and we will help
We will discuss which route fits you within the first three months, and revisit it every six.

Practical
Location: Parallelweg 27, 5223 AL Den Bosch. Hybrid, with at least 1 day per week on site.
Hours: 2 to 3 days per week, flexible.
Duration: 6 months minimum, with a strong preference for longer.
Start date: in consultation.
Reports to: Koen Giesbergen and Daniël Donkers (Managing Partners), directly.
