Crowdpowder is a boutique equity consultancy based in Den Bosch. We help startups and scale-ups across Europe raise growth capital from their own community, digitise their share structures, and make employees co-owners. We are not a platform and not a traditional advisor. We are the equity product leader for our clients: we set the structure, craft the story, run the campaign, and keep investors engaged, so founders can stay focused on their business.

We work in an industry where incumbents earn money by keeping things complex. We do the opposite. Everything we build is aimed at making ownership and investing understandable, human, and built to last.

Why this role exists

A funding round is forty small tasks that all have to be right. The model, the market sizing, the investor information sheet, the campaign page, the answers to the fifty questions investors ask in week two. Our consultants lead the client. Analysts make sure the work behind it is sharp and on time.

As Analyst you own the building blocks. You get context, a brief and a deadline, and you come back with something that is close to client ready. It is the first rung of our ladder: Analyst, Associate, Consultant, Senior Consultant.

What you will do

· Own defined deliverables inside live funding rounds, from brief to review-ready draft

· Build and pressure-test financial models: cap tables, dilution scenarios, funding needs, use of proceeds, valuation ranges

· Draft sections of investor materials: Investment Memoranda, KIIS, teaser decks and campaign copy, always translating complexity into plain language

· Prepare market sizing (TAM, SAM, SOM) and competitor benchmarks for client cases

· Join client sessions, capture the decisions made, and hand your project lead a clean list of next steps

· Analyse campaign and investor data (conversion, ticket sizes, funnel drop-off) and bring recommendations we can act on

· Support investor communication during live campaigns, from Q&A to closing updates

· Improve our internal playbooks and workflows in Notion, including AI-assisted processes

Who you are

· Master student in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Strategic Management, or a comparable field

· Available 1 to 2 days per week (8 to 16 hours), ideally for at least 6 months

· Strong with numbers and structure: you can build a model and, more importantly, explain it

· Sharp writer. If you cannot explain it simply, you do not understand it yet

· Comfortable being in the room with founders, following the conversation closely enough to know what has to happen next

· Proactive and self-directed. We give you context and freedom, and expect you to organise the rest

· Genuinely interested in equity, entrepreneurship and capital markets. Prior exposure to startups, VC, corporate finance or crowdfunding is welcome but optional

· Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written

· Comfortable with AI tools as part of daily work

What we offer

Compensation.
€14 to €18 gross per hour, depending on study phase and experience.

Travel costs covered, plus the tooling you need.

A real path up: Analyst to Associate as your hours and ownership grow, and Consultant after graduation, for the people who earn it.

Mentorship.
Weekly feedback from your project lead, plus regular contact with a Managing Partner.

Exposure.
Founders, angel and crowd investors, and regulated platforms across the EU and UK.

Flexibility.
We work around your study schedule, including exam weeks.

There is also room for a thesis or graduation project on something we genuinely need answered, so your research counts twice.

Practical

Location: Parallelweg 27, 5223 AL Den Bosch. Hybrid, with a minimum of 1 day per week on site

Hours: 1 to 2 days per week (8 to 16 hours), flexible around your study schedule

Duration: 6 months minimum, extension and post-graduation role possible

Start date: in consultation

Reports to: the consultant or Associate leading your workstream, with weekly check-ins from a Managing Partner
